AWARENESS CAMPAIGN FOR YOUNG FOOTBALLERS ON RAPE, PEDOPHILIA AND THEIR CONSEQUENCES IN DOUALA, CAMEROON
CAD AID Foundation Douala was pleased to support Ebenson Academy in its activities at the Eniet de Ngodi Bakoko stadium in Douala. For the first edition of the vacation tournament, christened Vacation ChallengesThe Douala team was on hand to educate the young boys about rape, paedophilia and its consequences. While encouraging them to continue their studies and above all to take them seriously, because a good footballer should also be good at school.For this final raid on the field, the men decided to speak out to raise awareness among other men and young adolecents about #rape and its harmful consequences. We believe that hope is reborn when men finally take matters into their own hands, because we'll have fewer and fewer rapists around us. It is more than important to inculcate the notion of gender in young boys so that they can see the girl as an ally in life and not as an adversary to be put down. Education being the basis, we're going to continue as best we can with AWARENESS so that this horrible act disappears completely from society.
